TIPP! Panel Discussion

Hardwiring change for women in the arts workplace

A recent survey launched by Artnet in cooperation with the Association of Women in the Arts (AWITA) aimed to find out why the contributions of women that make up roughly 75 % of workers in the art world often go unseen and undervalued.

On March 18 a panel of cultural leaders will present and discuss the survey findings, address systemic challenges and explore actionable opportunities for gender equity in the arts. Speakers at the Deutsche Bank UK Headquarters will include India Phillips, U. K. Managing Director of Bonhams, Sadie Coles, owner and Director of the London based gallery Sadie Coles HQ and the AWITA Co-Founder Sigrid Kirk. The panel will be moderated by Margaret Carrigan, the News Editor for Artnet Europe.

The panel is open to all working art professionals. RSVP is essential by March 11th to office@awita.london.
