Feminist Art History Conference (Washington/online, 26-28 September 2025)
The 9th Feminist Art History Conference continues to foster intersectional, global and interdisciplinary research on gender and sexuality in the visual arts field. Taking place at the American University in Washington D.C. and Online from 25–28th September, 2025 it comprises 10-in person panels, 12 online panels and 5 hybrid panels. Founded in 2010, the Feminist Art History Conference honors the pioneering scholarship of Norma Broude and Mary D. Garrard. It is hosted by AU’s Art History Program with support from Robin D’Alessandro and Dr. Jane Fortune.
